DeWitt The DeWitt Community Library's Senior Fair, held Oct. 26, offered more than 200 seniors and their caregivers a chance to talk with more than 30 local area organizations, agencies and businesses about services and programs they provide for seniors.
State Assemblymen Sam Roberts and Don Miller and Senator John DeFrancisco also met with senior constituents about issues important to them.
Seniors could also take part in health screenings, get a flu shot, and attend lectures on a variety of topics, including financial planning, elder law, nutrition and stress.
"We were delighted with the level or interest and participation," said DeWitt Community Library Executive Director Wendy Scott. "The event was a success thanks to the support of our corporate sponsor, Mutual of Omaha–CNY Division; ShoppingTown Mall; volunteers; library staff; and all of the exhibitors and lecturers who generously gave their time to join us."
