Cazenovia As in recent years, the Cazenovia Winter Farmers Market will be held at the American Legion Hall in Cazenovia the third Saturday of each month, November through April. The monthly markets are sponsored by the Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce.
The first indoor market of the upcoming season will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the legion hall located at 26 Chenango St. in Cazenovia.
Each month, the market will highlight a featured chef. During the Nov. 17 market, Charles Wilburn, the owner/chef of Poolville Country Store in Earlville, will create a lunch menu using local foods available at the market.
Future markets will include chefs from Nola’s, The Beattie Sanctuary, Lincklaen House and Granolamei. Each featured chef will offer the same program.
November vendors will include Cazenovia Cut Block, Country Quilts and Floor Cloths, Drover Hill Farm, Creekside Meadows Farm, Fruit of the Fungi, Frost Morning Farm, Full Quiver Farm, G&M Farms, Gianforte Farm, Heirloom Meadows Farm, Mountain Grown Farm, Loomis Maple Homestead, Poplar Hedge Farm, Miss Elaineous Gardens and Gifts, The Half Moon Bakery and Three Village Cheese, among many others.
The GCACC will have dates, times, and additional information for future markets posted on their website, including a calendar of happenings.
