  • ...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT
    THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...
    * WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9
    inches, with localized amounts in excess of a foot at highest
    elevations. Snow amounts will vary greatly by elevation, with
    the higher terrain getting significantly more than the valleys.
    * WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Susquehanna and Northern Wayne
    Counties. In New York, Northern Oneida, Yates, Seneca,
    Southern Cayuga, Onondaga, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung,
    Tompkins, Southern Oneida, Tioga, Broome and Sullivan Counties.
    * WHEN...Precipitation will begin as all rain Thursday evening,
    then change to snow late Thursday night into Friday, first at
    higher elevations. Snowfall could be heavy at times Friday.
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,
    including during the morning commute on Friday. Heavy wet snow
    on trees and gusty winds could lead to scattered power outages.
    Significant reductions in visibility are possible.
